- Objectives:
- Energy and resource are limited, and some global environmental crises are
predicted by IPPC. This omnibus lecture series will explain why and how
to make the policy for global environmental and energy issues, and what
kinds of technologies are expected to solve them.
- Students will be able to get the following information systematically;
- Current topics concerning global environmental and
energy issues,
- How to make the world and national policy,
- Environmental technologies and their role in the policy,
- Advanced environmental researches.
- Assessment: attendance and presentation (or report)
- attendance: 8 times (attendance of the first day is also included for the
assessment)
- full attendance = 6 points/day
- partial attendance without proper explanation = 3 points/day
- absent without proper explanation = 0 point/day
- presentation by using PPT at class and submission of improved PPT (or report):
4 times
- S (excellent) = 13 points
- A (good) = 10 points
- B (normal) = 7 points
- C (poor) = 4 points
- assessment: A (85-100 points), B (65-84 points), C (50-64 points)
